"I stayed half a block from Checkpoint Charlie, and was fascinated by the city. It’s fun and vibrant, but at the same time the museums and monuments are sobering reminders of a very dark history. I was especially moved by the Jewish Museum Berlin, and the photo of the young woman with her bicycle was taken as I was walking to the museum. She caught me, and her look is one of consternation and bemusement. I showed her the picture, she liked it, and said she had no problem with me using it. It’s probably my favorite from Berlin."

"I was walking through the Arcade, a historic enclosed shopping promenade first opened in downtown Nashville in 1903. I passed the front window of a dressmaker’s shop, where the owner, Semra, was busy at work on her sewing machine. Just as I snapped the photo, she looked up. It wasn’t until later that I noticed that her work light looked like a halo. I dubbed her the “Angel of the Arcade.”

Since opening our doors in January, we have been carrying glassworks from local neighborhood artist Meredith Edmondson (tag). We look forward to consistently representing Meredith's beautiful hand-blown glass. her work is the extraordinary ability of glass to look like what it is not; each object is as beautiful as it is deceptive, and the illusion is the craft. Currently, Edmondson works out of her studio located in the heart of the Wedgewood Houston Arts District of Nashville, TN."

Prima Signa has a gorgeous sampling of local Nashville mixed media painter . Alexa Lipman began seriously painting as a way to cope during the beginning of the pandemic. Her work plays heavily with color relationships and heavily textured canvases.

From striking large scale murals to immersive installations to mixed media canvas pieces, his work deftly combines classically depicted subjects with playful, colorful illustrative imagery. His inspirations run the gamut from Michelangelo to Ren and Stimpy - Rembrandt to Kaws. Skateboarding and the skateboarding culture has also been a big influence on his work. Brian is a graduate of Savannah College of Art and Design."

A little bit about Stacy Widelitz:

"Always a fan of film noir, as well as classic B&W street photography, he discovered that those influences were coming out in the photos he was taking. He was surprised that he seemed to be able to capture an emotional moment with his camera, but realized that he had spent his whole life capturing emotional moments through music. Widelitz decided that this type of Photography was another important form of expression for him..."

I am continually drawn to the simplicity and hand-made touches of this stunning work of art. I feel a sense of connection to it. Every sheet of aluminum so purposefully placed around a honeycomb of metal boxes held all together by thousands of rivets. The legends who built these planes were true artisans!

I was stoked at the chance to photograph this plane, it was a once in a lifetime opportunity! I was so amped I jumped on the first flight to Oregon to get rolling immediately.

Resting on the hot runway in Aurora, the polished aluminum panels of this timeless gem glistened majestically in the sun. I imagined every passenger ever to board this amazing craft staring back at me in its mirrored finish. Each crease and scratch in the metallic surface told a story of every mile it has ever flown. It was a true masterpiece.

The DC-3 revolutionized air travel, introducing a nation of eager travelers to the marvel of flight. Making history with each Arrival and Departure, this truly was the golden age of flight.
