Nashville has officially come to NYC!
Last night’s sold-out show at the The Paley Center for Media marked the kickoff of our new monthly New York performance series, and we couldn’t have asked for a better first night.
The evening started at 5 PM, when Kevin MaC and D Vincent Williams hosted an intimate songwriting masterclass. They walked us through their writing process and peeled back the curtain on what it’s actually like to work in writers’ rooms. Audience members even had the opportunity to ask questions about how they can advance their own songwriting careers.
Before the show, a red carpet welcomed all of our performers, press, and audience members. A few New Yorkers even got a taste of the South with a glass of Kevin Mac’s Elsie Marshall Wh***ey Elsie Marshall Wh***ey.
At 8 PM, our show kicked off to a packed house. The intimate setting of the Paley Center’s Bennack Theater was the perfect backdrop for our first NYC event. Our writers shared some incredible stories, performed the hits they wrote, and got the crowd involved for a few memorable singalong moments.
