WHO:
Nashville TCL Co-op artist Tammy Gentuso will be creating the ceramic tiles with the support and encouragement of Danielle McDaniel (aka The Clay Lady) and Tami Archer (of Mid-South Ceramics) and the other artists of The Clay Lady's Campus. WHAT:
Welcome to Music City's very own NASHVILLE CLAYSCAPE! This is a ceramic tile map of the city of Nashville, and will measure SEVEN feet tall and 20-2

4 feet in length once it is completed! WHERE:
A public art installation on the grounds of The Clay Lady's Campus--1416 Lebanon Pike, Nashville TN 37210--the tiles will be located on the outside wall of the co-op building in the Koi pond courtyard. WHEN:
Planning/mapping--April 2017
Tile Production--April-August 2017
Installation of tiles--Summer of 2017

HOW:
ONE TILE AT A TIME! Handmade, each tile will be carved according to a map created by Ms. After bisque firing the tiles, they will be treated with manganese and underglazes, then topped with a clear glaze before high firing them in the kiln. HOW YOU CAN PARTICIPATE:
Two ways to participate--
--complete our survey as we figure out which locations to include on the map;
--attend the Firefly Artisan Fair and make a tile of your own to be included as part of the border of this installation! As always, if you have time, drop in at the co-op for a tour and visit, won't you? Then you can see first-hand how the progress is coming along! See you soon-------tammy g
