Getting ready for our spring season of performances and competitions. The drum section spent last Monday night changing things up with new snares and drumheads for the sides and new tenor heads for the midsection. Looking forward to seeing how they sound!!

The band had a great weekend working with Jori Chisholm. Getting back to fundamentals and stressing working cohesively as a band. What a great kick-off to the new year. Looking forward to seeing the fruits of everyone’s labors as the season progresses!

It’s been a busy week for our NP&D crew! Thursday night we played for the Montgomery Bell Academy class of 2025 graduation. Thankfully the weather held and it was a beautiful night! Today we had a drum clinic and both our Grade 5 and Grade 3 drummers got a chance to learn some tips and tricks from Jon Quigg! Looking forward to practice Monday night when we can put some of what we learned into practice with the whole band!!

NP&D Grade 5 stepped into the Quick March Medley competition circle led by first time Pipe Major Peter Liu and took 2nd Place!!
