The wonderful Tom Mason, a friend of virtually everyone I know in Nashville, left us too soon. He also left us with music that the world needs to hear. Laurie and I are proud to contribute to the completion of that album. You are missed, Tom!

Hear the Dollycaster in action tomorrow at Coyote Motel’s 3 to 5 p.m. unofficial Americana Showcase at Love and Exile in East Nashville, with Anne McCue and the Cubists and McKinley James also performing. Free admission to all; food provided. (Dolly would have wanted the latter.) We’ll be playing songs from the soundtrack of our debut feature film, The River: A Songwriter’s Stories of the South, now winning awards at festivals!
