This idea of being present and grateful for the current moment has been on my heart lately & I wanted to share.

The music industry, and honestly the entertainment industry as whole is a waiting game. Waiting for your hard work to pay off, waiting for someone important to notice, waiting to “make it”.

Yes, those are important and exciting things. We all have goals we’re chasing and dreams we’re trying to achieve. However, sometimes we forget to be where our feet are.

Look down at where you are. Think about the position you’re in right now. Have you always been here? What did it take to get to this position? Maybe you live in a new city, maybe you now post on social media more than ever, maybe you’re finally releasing new music. You haven’t always been here. It took work just to get where you are.

Give yourself credit for the journey you’ve already traveled. I know you might have a long way to go, as do I in many ways, but I am taking the time as I reflect back on one year owning this business, to remind myself that I have accomplished a lot in this past year.

I may not have hit every goal yet, or achieved my wildest dreams. But it wouldn’t be fair to 1 year ago Delaney, to not acknowledge how far I have come.

I hope you do the same for yourself today 🤍 Happy Monday ✨

ONE YEAR!!!!

Cant believe it’s been a whole year of chasing a dream & coaching the most incredibly talented artists.

I am feeling so beyond blessed this weekend. Thanks to everyone who celebrated Dilemma, sent kind words, or has been apart of this past year in anyway. I wouldn’t be here without any of you🤍

Thanks to all my artists who took a chance to meet a girl they barely knew - now I consider y’all such good friends.

One year down, here’s to many more. ✨🥹

QUALITY OVER QUANTITY!!! This is so key. Don’t release a song just to get something out. Release well thought out music and give yourself enough time to push it on socials, to distribution, to publications, etc. Take your time. It’s more impressive to labels to see 2 songs with a lot of streams than 10 under 1000.
