We had a room full of Rossinis this week, every note they played and sang was inspired. And I think I even collected some pointers on how to machine wash my delicates? It's all going in the memoir, Twenty Three Songwriters After Dark (A Song And A Thong). Don't sue me, Sisqó:

+ Zoe, Stephen, and Ross fixed the speakers!

+ Ross was patriotic but also nuanced about it

+ Daniel Ford danced on those notes like an aria

+ Waytoven got us excited for his new album

+ Abe visited from Hawaii with a sound tapestry

+ John Kontur edumacated us about cross-meter

+ Dave returned from OKC with new material!

+ Janele moved, grooved, and proved she's it

+ Eric evoked the aural emotions of espionage

+ Ellis sounded like Maynard singing John Lennon

+ Jon Lipshaw earned every note he played

+ Mike pumped out more well designed lyrics

+ Trey shared take two of his new cowboy song

+ Joaquin mic'd his guitar and shattered our hearts

+ Tyler hyped up Flipsville -- x2 in July!

+ Bobby just has too much love in his heart (pants)

+ Mad Mary detuned the un-detune-able guitar 😮

+ Felix unveiled a new one for our grateful ears

+ Stefani returned to claim her Nashville crown

+ Karissa and band shared some smokin' word

+ Beaux morphed two songs into one opus

+ Tyler & James Brown are a force to reckon with

+ Loose Bolts snuck in under the wire for a cover

+ note from the host: 3 folks got second song helpings, which was awesome, and most importantly, everyone gave each other grace with time swapping needs; the host may not have been perfect (he sucked!) about knowing exactly what was going on, but everyone was so patient and flexible, it was really inspiring

A walaʻau welcome to our Hawaiian newcomer Abe Miller, welcome back to the returning champions (see Notebook Of Infamy photo for names), and see you all next Wednesday.

Some wise words from Louis, it is reassuring to know nobody at the Springwater is retired. There's way too much music still inside them to do that. Just some of the beauty that keeps us burning the midnight oil, as heard in the twenty incredible artists who all got to play two songs tonight:

+ Sherrin evoked the greats of the 1960s in her melody

+ Ross kicked it loud & proud on a classic dreadnought

+ Ellis unearthed some truly amazing, "archival audio"

+ John Lomax III paid his respects to the late monarch

+ Tyler invented an entire new genre: orthodontal punk

+ Eric n' Beaux soared to new musical heights together

+ Waytoven let his mellow synth tones wash over us all

+ either J. Allingham is a mad scientist or we all are

+ Jon Lipshaw debuted a badass new song live in TikTok

+ Kit visited us from North Carolina and fit right in!

+ James Brown Band literally had a singing dog 😮 what?

Well, finally, we know how to get that signature AC/DC sound: a truck, a foot, the rest is history. What's not history, what's present day, right here right now, is the artists making history in real time with THESE sounds:

Church on a Wednesday night? Crazier things have happened. Like catching the devil flu in Iceland and being put out of commission for a week. And like surviving a cult, getting clean and sober, being featured in 's 40th anniversary issue, and then guest hosting for these rockstars:

+ Rob gave the sound guy a compliment for the ages
