My dear friend lost his wife recently due to a rare neurological disease. I paused all projects to paint her portrait in hopes it would provide healing to him. Prints of it were made and framed for their family as well.

One of my main goals with my art is that it comforts others.. this is an example of just that. ♥️🙏🏻

Whether the goal is realism or abstract, I encourage each participant to paint their way! Beyond impressed with this class…the creative skills shined bright!!! ☀️

Gentry 🩵 such a sweet boy!! ..this is the 4th child portrait I’ve completed for my friend🥰

He says his family is complete now! Each of his children will have their own portrait they’ll be able to cherish forever and pass down to their own families one day.

For the first time I was nervous while painting…wanted to make sure every detail was just right. Creating a custom surprise piece for Dolly Parton was a dream.
I didn’t get the pleasure to meet her, but just the thought of Dolly holding my art in her hands makes me smile from ear to ear.

I’ll always be thankful for her team who asked me to do this. It was an honor I’ll always remember.

What an incredible woman she was. I look up to her in so many ways.💗 May your beautiful soul Rest In Peace🙏🏻

— Dolly Parton is pictured with her manager’s dog Billy The Kid 🐶❤️
—client instructions: regular face for Billy, no tongue

**was told it hangs in the front of one of her studios** 😊

(my dog Charlie sat in my lap during most of the process🥰)
