Loving this new David Daniel Parker album "Simple Rhythms".

Recorded live to cassette 4-track that one of our producer/engineers, Samuel Schmidt, in his "literal attic".

"MUSIC INSPIRED BY THE LIFE AND THE DEATH AND THE RESURRECTION OF OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST" is what is printed at the bottom of the front cover.

Opening track, "This Afternoon" sets the album's tone and sonic imprint that immediately points the the genuity and honesty of the lyrics and life of these two gentleman in pursuit of capturing the moment. Lyrically nodding to the title track.

Other notable songs that instantly connected with me are my personal favourite, "Thunderstand", "Lost In Your Bed", "Simple Rhythms" & finale "Psalm 51" --create in me a clean heart O' God.
