Adrienne Moscheo & "Blythe"!!
I have to tell you about a beautiful precious soul.. Adrienne Moscheo! I held her in my arms when she was just a few weeks old. Her mom/dad and I all went to junior high, high school and college together and were in a singing group in college together. So we have a lot of history together!!

She has the most amazing professional organizing company called “Blythe”, where she helps those that are in transitions such as a loved one passing, moving, a renovation or divorce. She offers a tender touch of helping folks navigate their belongings, if they stay, if they go or go into storage and then organizing your home with beautiful inspiration and peace. She has a fantastic eye for design and decor, I can’t say enough wonderful things about her!

ALL of "The Painted Tree Boutiques" Nationwide..have closed as of April 14, 2026.. no warning.. just come and get your stuff out by Sunday, April 19.

"Rising costs, shifting market conditions, how folks shop have greatly effected the business that they can't overcome. Last day of business was April 13.

What a bummer.. another retailer for all things IOD (Iron Orchid Designs is gone.. , , ... IOD.. PLEASE sell online to your customers, chasing down vendor after vendor is becoming exhausting when they are only able to stay in business 1-2 years, if even that long...it's time to sell things directly!!!

Estate sale God-wink! Every once in a while God points out tiny treasures that have deep spiritual meaning to me at these estate sales I go to on the weekends. I saw this tiny concrete girl sitting on an overgrown patio of a house that was going to be torn down.

She was covered up with encroaching vines, grime and dirt.
I saw her and thought, I can’t just leave her on this filthy patio, but I don’t really need her. So I walked on by and went into the house, then I couldn’t stop thinking about her.. so I went back, grabbed her and put her into a hold box. God started speaking to my heart about the baby girl I miscarried in 1992…and thought.. she looks like she's peering down from heaven to me, saying.. "hey mom, i’m here.. waiting on you.. but until you get here i’m going to sit amongst heavens garden full of flowers.” What a sweet God-wink!

So I brought her home, scrubbed her clean and then noticed all the holes in the concrete so I filled them with paper clay and wood glue, matched the concrete color and did a heavy white dry brush all over. Then I used IOD’s “Blossoms” Mould to create the pink painted flowers on the empty base, dry brush again. When I imagine the flowers in heaven, I can’t even imagine how brilliant they are.. so I made her flowers just faint, because she is just beyond the veil to me now. I put her on a small tiny dresser from the 1950’s, which was the first piece of furniture my mom helped me buy for $20. God loves to surprise us with reminders that He’s always near, remembers our pain and loss.. and Heaven is close!

HOW precious is this trim at Michael's?!?!? This store in Nashville (100 Oaks), is one of the few stores to take over JoAnn's fabrics and trim and has their own section of all things sewing/fabric/trim etc. I wish I had a girl to sew for, cause I would put this trim on everything.. it looks like tiny crochet squares!!!
