HELP?!?!
So I got an amazing ornate extra large frame at an estate sale and starting to work on this big beauty! But I need help! So in trying to tap the old rusted nails out of this frame that used to hold a canvas or whatever.. just by tapping, some of the ornate overlay pieces are popping off and i'm gluing back ASAP..

But i'm wondering do I need to put a layer of "Mod Podge" on all the ornate pieces to better hold them in place before moving forward with either Paper Clay or Woodcast fixes with the various moulds in the pic? OR.. would a coat of satin polyurethane be better than Mod Podge are a type of glue???

I have to tell you about a beautiful precious soul.. Adrienne Moscheo! I held her in my arms when she was just a few weeks old. Her mom/dad and I all went to junior high, high school and college together and were in a singing group in college together. So we have a lot of history together!!

ALL of "The Painted Tree Boutiques" Nationwide..have closed as of April 14, 2026.. no warning.. just come and get your stuff out by Sunday, April 19.

"Rising costs, shifting market conditions, how folks shop have greatly effected the business that they can't overcome. Last day of business was April 13.

What a bummer.. another retailer for all things IOD (Iron Orchid Designs is gone.. , , ... IOD.. PLEASE sell online to your customers, chasing down vendor after vendor is becoming exhausting when they are only able to stay in business 1-2 years, if even that long...it's time to sell things directly!!!
