Nashville Friends,

The Guitar Night Shredders Showcase will no longer be held at this Friday, July 19th.

We will be rescheduling the event ASAP at a new venue, new time and day!

This was unforseen and has occured due to the owner of Eastside Bowl making statements wishing death upon another person; former President, Donald Trump.

This has caused a serious stir within the community here; not limited to musicians. We do not condone or support these actions and will not be patronizing, performing at, or in any way being involved with this venue or it’s owner.

Wishing death upon another person is wrong; no matter if you agree with their beliefs or not.

The Guitar Night Shredders Showcase will no longer be held at this Friday, July 19th. We are trying to work with a local organizer to find a new venue for that date but if we can’t secure one, we will be forced to reschedule.

This was unforseen and has occured due to the owner of Eastside Bowl making statements wishing death upon another person; former President, Donald Trump.

This has caused a serious stir within the community here; not limited to musicians. We do not condone or support these actions and will not be patronizing, performing at, or in any way being involved with this venue or it’s owner.

Dylan Joseph is a 19-year old, up-and-coming guitarist hailing from Northern New Jersey. Now based in Nashville, Tennessee, Dylan is pursuing his dream of being a guitarist full time - for his solo project, as well as many other bands! Combining many aspects of different genres of music, Dylan’s signature sound has the aggression of modern progressive metal, but the melodies, depth, and atmosphere of post-hardcore bands of the day. His most recent single, “ADHD” is the first single of his new EP, coming later this summer. Keep an eye out, as his journey is just beginning!!

Anthony Carty is a guitar virtuoso hailing from southwest Virginia. After completing his bachelor’s in classical guitar performance at Radford University, he studied electric guitar with Matthew Mills. His debut solo album “IV Horsemen” is a shred fest that features guest solos by Matthew Mills and Michael Angelo Batio. Most recently Zenrok Guitars by Siggi Braun have released the “Anthony Carty Signature Guitar” line to the public.

 “The Shreddite” Diego Vargas is a Nashville based shred guitarist. Combining his love of crushing riffs, fast guitars and modern production with a theatrical twist, he strives to bring the excitement of metal and shred to a whole new audience of headbangers. Taking influence from artists such as Ice Nine Kills, Nita Strauss, and Pantera, his music has been described as Cinematic Metalcore (Theatricore) mixed with thrash roots and enough shred to melt your face off.  He has toured the country with multiple artists, most notably as direct support for Nita Strauss on her Winter Wasteland tour. He released his debut single in October of 2023 “Dead by Dawn”, an exhilarating ride of chaotic riffs and intense shred inspired by horror movies of the past. He currently also plays with Nashville Hard Rock band “Jane and The Killer Queens”. With a third single on the way along with a pop culture metal cover and a jaw dropping live show in the works, he is planning on taking the metal world by storm, and he’s only just begun.

Mike Simmonz - Guitar - Pro Audio

Mike Simmonz has been a prominent figure in the Nashville music scene, co-writing, recording, and performing with bands such as Speedlimit, Assault, Simmonz, The Stand, and Passion Temple. In the ‘90s, he played guitar for Aashid Himmon’s Afrikan Dreamland and later joined The Pyramid Underground in the 2000s.

In 2003 and 2004, Mike toured as Peter Frampton’s guitar tech, showcasing his technical expertise. His extensive experience includes working with renowned bands and producers like Nick Raskulinecz, Brendan O’Brien, Dan Huff, John and Martina McBride, Mark Knopfler, Mastodon, Stone Sour, Seether, Evanescence, The Fray, and Black Star Riders, among many others.

Mike joined Blackbird Studio in 2006 after Underground Sound Pro Audio Rentals, which he co-owned and managed, was acquired by Blackbird. Currently, he serves as the Rental Manager at Blackbird Audio Rentals, where he oversees an impressive inventory of equipment.

🎉 GUITAR NIGHT is celebrating its one year anniversary today! Our first Guitar Night was on December 13 at the 404 bar and Grill.

Guitar Night has grown a lot since then adding members and creating a larger community.

and I are so happy to have made so many great friends and jammed with so many amazing players.

With the help and sponsorship of Lane Music , we hope that Guitar Night continues to grow both as a community and as an event.
