Did you know?
Kentucky has awarded $38.5 million in tax credits to movies, TV shows, and Broadway shows productions in Kentucky so far this year. They plan to award $37 million more.
Kentucky has additionally spent millions building sound stages and movie studios with taxpayer funds in order to attract the very footloose film industry. It leaves one to wonder how this benefits the state when we give away so much to the industry and they can just leave when they get an even better offer.
