Too Hot To Handel: The Gospel Messiah

Too Hot To Handel: Original concept by Marin Alsop; Co-arranged by Bob Christianson & Gary Anderson. Breaking the Classical Sound barrier since 1993.

TOO HOT TO HANDEL was commissioned by the Concordia Orchestra and premiered in 1993, in New York City. This is a gospel-jazz version of George Frederic Handel's Messiah and features three vocal soloists, gospel choir, jazz rhythm section and orchestra. Original concept by Marin Alsop | Co-arranged by Bob Christianson & Gary Anderson. The ultimate symphonic cross-over show is represented by Opus 3 Artists.
