Finished up this knitting bag using the Knitting Bag pattern by Kandou Patterns, and I am OBSESSED 😍
This one went together beautifully. Definitely take your time at the base and at the top when attaching the drawstring panel—totally worth it for the clean finish.

✨ Details:
• Fits 4 full skeins of yarn with room for more
• 4 exterior pockets (because we love options)
• 2 interior pockets for hooks, notions, or snacks 👀
• Structured, sturdy, and SO cute

I seriously love love love this bag. It’s functional and pretty, which is always a win in my book 💛
Highly recommend this pattern if you’re thinking about making a yarn bag!

Zig-zagging the edges like a good little sewist so I can wash and iron this fabric without it trying to fall apart on me. 😅

Not glamorous. Not exciting. But future-me will be VERY grateful when everything stays where it belongs. 💛✂️

Trust the process… even the boring parts.

Okay but can we talk about this fabric for a second?! 😍✨

I thought it was pretty in the store… but while I was prepping it to cut out a yarn bag, it really showed off. The colors are chef’s kiss and the watercolor vibe just hits different once it’s laid out like this. 💙💛💚

This is one of those fabrics that quietly waits until you’re alone together and then goes, “Oh hey… I’m actually stunning.” 😌

Now excuse me while I try to cut into it without second-guessing every single piece because WOW. Crafty problems. 🧵🫠

🧵✨ Zippy Clip lineup by Salty Sews ! ✨🧵

The little one in front is the original size—and it holds ALL my clips (surprising how much it fits!).
The middle one in the purple Tula Pink Full Moon Forest II with vines & bees 🐝 is at 150%.
And the big one on the left? That’s 175%, made with gorgeous Thunderbird handcrafted fabric. 🌿🏞️

It’s so fun to see how the same pattern transforms with different sizes and fabrics! 💜

Not gonna lie… made a few mistakes along the way 🙈 but I think she turned out amazing! 💕

🧵 It’s been a busy few days at the sewing table—I’ve got two zippy clips and a tote bag all cut out and ready to go! The prep work might not be glamorous, but it’s one of my favorite parts… seeing all the pieces come together before the magic happens. ✂️💫 Can’t wait to get these stitched up!
