It may not look like much now, but there has been a lot happening and planning behind the scenes at the farm🤍

🌳 4 weeping willow trees have been planted around the pond… they grow about 4 feet per year❤️

🎨 The fence line is scheduled to be painted black in July

🌿 New landscaping is coming around the barn and in the center of our circle driveway…so much beauty for bridal pics!!

✨ Ever After Woods is getting its finishing touches with lighting and 20 custom benches, planned for completion by August

🪵 The barn is also getting ready for a fresh coat of stain. Battens are now on and they are almost ready to start blending in with the boards.

HVAC system hope to be in by August🙏

None of this happens without the support of our family. We are incredibly grateful for the many family members who have stepped up to help bring our vision to life. Every board, every light, every improvement represents countless hours of hard work and love…. Not only by Shelley and Myself but both our husbands and my mom!!!

The vision is becoming reality one project at a time, and we can’t wait to share it with all of you. 🤍✨

One thing we love is options🤍 we love a beautiful decorated table.

Whether Shelley is helping design your tablescape or you’re creating it yourself from our complimentary décor collection, we want our couples to have plenty of choices to bring their wedding vision to life.

Many of the colors in our collection have actually been bride-inspired! As we plan, coordinate, and decorate alongside our couples, we often add new pieces based on the styles and color palettes they’re dreaming about.

Our newest table runner additions include:

✨ Butter Yellow

From soft and romantic to bold… on the hunt for a few more colors for our winter/christmas brides and our collection will be complete.

A big shout-out to my friend and business partner, Shelley. She took our bride’s vision and absolutely knocked it out of the park. Every detail you see in the table photos came from our Smith Acres décor collection and was thoughtfully designed around our bride’s garden-inspired theme.

We set up for 130 guests—our largest since we opened in September…and I think all 130 showed up😉

A special thank you to my mom, Shelley’s sister, and Shelley’s good friend Debbie for helping make the day such a success. We couldn’t have done it without you!

The weekend was long, but moments like these remind us why we love helping couples create unforgettable wedding days. 🤍 We can’t wait to share the professional photos from this beautiful garden-inspired wedding. The bride and groom were absolutely stunning!

Last night, before Shelley and I headed home, I stopped for a minute and snapped this picture. After a long day of cleaning, decorating, and getting everything ready, it was one of those moments that reminds me why we both love what we do🤍

Today, the flowers go out, the draping goes up, the benches are set, and another Smith Acres love story begins.

It’s amazing how quickly a quiet field between the barn and farmhouse transforms into the place where two people say, “I do.”

Wedding day is today…and we can’t wait to share this beautiful day ❤️
