A HEARTFELT THANK YOU, WASHINGTON COUNTY!
As we wrap up the 2026 Washington County Fair, we want to take a moment to recognize the incredible people who make this fair possible year after year!
To our Washington County Sheriff's Office (NY), Washington County, NY - Department of Public Safety, all of the Fire and EMS Squads and emergency service providers, and first responders THANK YOU! While our community is busy enjoying the rides, food, music, livestock, motorsports, exhibits, and everything else the fair has to offer, you are working behind the scenes to help keep our exhibitors, visitors, families, volunteers, and staff safe. Your dedication to Washington County and your commitment to serving our community means more than we can put into words. We are incredibly grateful for all that you do.
And of course, a tremendous THANK YOU to everyone else who helps make the Washington County Fair run smoothly:
Our Judges; for sharing your knowledge, experience, and time with our exhibitors.
Our Volunteers; the heart of the Washington County Fair. You give countless hours, often behind the scenes, to make sure everything gets done.
Our Pit Crews & Motorsports Teams; for the hard work, long hours, and dedication that go into making our motorsports events possible.
Our Exhibitors; thank you for bringing your animals, talents, hard work, and passion for agriculture to the fair. You are truly what the Washington County Fair is all about.
Our Staff; thank you for the months of preparation, early mornings, late nights, and everything in between. So much goes into making fair week happen long before the gates ever open.
Our Vendors & Concessionaires; thank you for helping create the food, shopping, entertainment, and experiences that our visitors look forward to every year.
Our Sponsors, Board Members, Livestock Committees, Maintenance Crews, Parking Teams, Gate Workers, Entertainment, Sanitation Crews, Office Staff, and countless others; thank you for everything you contribute.
And to the many people whose names we may not mention here but who show up, pitch in, lend a hand, and help make things happen THANK YOU.
The Washington County Fair is so much more than seven days in August. It is a celebration of Washington County, our agricultural roots, our youth, our families, our businesses, and the incredible community we are fortunate to call home.
It truly takes a community to put on a county fair and Washington County, NY, continues to show us just how amazing that community is.
Although we're still catching our breath from this year's fair, we can already tell you one thing...
We're already planning for NEXT YEAR!
There is plenty of work ahead, plenty of ideas to bring to life, and plenty of ways to make the 2027 Washington County Fair even better.
