Secretariat, Seabiscuit, and American Pharaoh as well as the Queen of England can be found in this fun painting, my first attempt at horse racing.

At the Jacob Houston Gallery Thank You night, Jake gifted his cousin Shannon Davis a painting. Shannon helped a great deal in the gallery build. Since Shannon loves Disney, Jake created a scene from one of her favorite Disney movies.

Here's the painting that Jacob presented to his uncle Bert Davis to thank him for helping to build the gallery. It includes the house that Bert grew up in on Ryan Road as well as Bert's current home and farm on McCormick Road.

Oh, what a night! We decided to have a "Thank you Night" to show appreciation to the many people who made the art gallery possible... contractors, friends and relatives who helped with the build, those who helped with Pop Ups, and people who have strongly impacted Jake's art and supported him all the way. The celebration did not disappoint- we are so lucky to have so many terrific people in our lives! Thanks go out also to those who couldn't make it.

What a wonderful opening for the Jacob Houston Art Gallery yesterday. The most incredible group of happy, supportive people came together to help Jake kick off his newest endeavor .There were friends, relatives, and art supporters from near and far ( 6 different states to be exact) to make this a perfect day of celebration. Thanks to everyone for being such super people!
Special thanks to Evelyn Costello and Rulynn Graves from the Greenwich Chamber of Commerce for helping with the ribbon cutting, Carrie Woerner for attending, Audrey and Dan Fischer for the beautiful delicious charcuterie boards, and Amy, Sue, and Shannon for all of your help!
The gallery will be open today from noon until 5pm, and Wed.- Sundays noon to 5pm after today.
