✨ MASTER CLASS ANNOUNCEMENT ✨
Join us at Salisbury Dance Academy on Monday, July 20th from 6:00–8:00 PM for an incredible Precision Jazz & Rockette-Style Master Class with Samantha Jo Harvey!
Open to all local dancers ages 12 & up
Cost:
• INCLUDED for dancers registered for SDA Summer Camp
• $25 per dancer for non-camp participants
Originally from Baltimore, MD, Samantha graduated as Valedictorian of Towson University with a BFA in Dance Performance and a BS in Sociology/Anthropology. She then spent 10 years performing on "The Great Stage" as a Radio City Rockette and Assistant Dance Captain in the Radio City Christmas Spectacular. Her professional credits include performances with JLO on SNL, Pitbull on America's Got Talent, the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade, The Today Show, Wendy Williams Show, and more. She has also worked with Nike, MAC Cosmetics, Toyota, Beachbody, Denise Austin, and numerous other major brands.
ABOUT THE CLASS:
The class will start with a technical jazz warm up and across the floor, then focus our time on precision jazz technique with Rockette-style choreography including the famous eye high kicks. We’ll finish class with showing the parents our combination and a quick Q/A for students to ask a veteran LA/NYC pro dancer any questions they desire.
Wear jazz shoes, character heels or bare feet.
