Today, Colorado made history for artists and creative enterprises! Governor Polis signed SB26-133 Colorado Artist Company Act, which will create a new type of business entity dedicated to artists and creative industries. This first-in-the-nation entity, known as an Artist Corporation or A-Corp, will be a blueprint for how artists can better protect their work, access capital, and collaborate together. Thanks to everyone who has been part of this journey - more to come as we get to work rolling out A-Corp in Colorado over the next several months.
