Founded in 1915, the Quad City Symphony Orchestra is one of the country’s longest continuously operating orchestras. The QCSO has presented superb symphonic music in Iowa & Illinois for over a century, reaching 450,000 Illinois and Iowa residents. asing favorites such as Quad City Bank & Trust Riverfront Pops, Films-in-Concert, and the Up Close chamber music series. In addition to accessible concerts, QCSO is committed to providing high quality music education to students of all ages throughout the region each year with their Youth Ensembles, Private & Group Lesson Programs, Boys & Girls Club Cello Program, school engagements, Students @ Symphony, and Symphony Day, which has introduced over 6,000 fourth and fifth-grade students to a live orchestra performance each year since 1988. The QCSO is committed to reflecting the community in our organization by being diverse, accessible, and inclusive, and is a National Alliance for Audition Support partner.
