The show goes on! As much as we wanted to sing and dance to the sounds of Jerry Powell outside on a beautiful summer day, the weather didn't want to participate, so we're going to sing and dance inside and still have a ball!

Bring the whole family and your dancing shoes to the Columbus Main Library downtown at 12pm today for our last PBJ & Jazz of the summer! See you there!

The band is back at Bicentennial Park for a free concert downtown! Enjoy some jazz favorites played by your Columbus Jazz Orchestra led by Zach Compston. Bring a blanket, a lawn chair, picnic basket, whatever lets you enjoy these last few moments of summer weather before Ohio cools down for the year.

Columbus Jazz joined Grange Insurance at , the company’s annual giving campaign kickoff event encouraging employee giving and volunteerism. The Columbus Jazz All-Stars got everyone in the swing of things with a toe-tapping special performance to launch the event.

Grange Insurance has been a steadfast friend and partner to Columbus Jazz for a number of years. Renewing their support for the 2026/27 season, we are immensely grateful to recognize Grange Insurance for their comprehensive investment in performance and education programs.

Pack your picnic basket and join us for the last Topiary Park PBJ & Jazz for the season!

Our last PBJ & Jazz of the summer will be THIS SATURDAY at Topiary Park at 12pm (noon). Bring the whole family to hear Jerry Powell and Friends brighten the park up with live jazz that everyone from toddlers to great-grandparents will enjoy!

At Columbus Jazz, our mission is to bring the highest caliber of jazz performance and accessible education to everyone in our city.

At the time of this post, a small number of tickets remain for this historic occasion. We invite students, teachers, and lifelong jazz fans to join us in this presentation of a truly world-class ensemble and its generational leader. Students will look back years from now and remember exactly where they were when they heard this band swing!

MJ & Motown was a great night!

We had such a good time at the , and luckily the weather was calm enough for us to put on a great show. It was such a great time sharing the stage with who had us singing and dancing along all night

That wraps up our summer at the Hinson Amphitheatre for 2026, but we have more ways to catch some jazz coming very soon. Tune in for more!
