The restoration is the foundation of revitalization plans for the King-Lincoln District, providing a bustling hub of activity 365 days a year with performances, rehearsals, and classes in the performing arts, as well as a wide variety of community events such as film festivals, meetings, and receptions. Are you between the ages of 16 and 24 and ready to showcase your talent? The Young Artist Development Expo (YADE) is coming to the Historic Lincoln Theatre on August 2, 2026, and we are looking for the next generation of artists, creatives, and entrepreneurs to shine!

Enjoy a day filled with live performances, local vendors, a DJ, food, art ideation sessions, and opportunities to learn about branding, marketing, entrepreneurship, and the business of artmaking. Whether you sing, dance, paint, create, or simply have a passion for the arts, this is your chance to gain exposure, connect with seasoned artists, and celebrate creativity infused with culture.

Not a performer? No problem! There is also an opportunity to become a vendor and showcase your business while building confidence and pursuing your passion.

Although Bet on the Lincoln took place earlier this April, we are STILL on a high from such an unforgettable night at the Lincoln Theatre! Thank you to everyone who celebrated, supported, and helped make this year’s gala so special. Special thanks to Zyrome Brown for beautifully capturing this amazing evening.

As we continue building toward our Centennial celebration, we’re already excited for all that’s ahead and looking forward to next year’s gala. Please enjoy this recap of an amazing evening!
