Stacking wood and getting ready for a cozy season in the barn at Pinehurst!

Join us for yoga, a Thanksgiving arrangement workshop, or one of our holiday wreath workshops. We’re looking forward to gathering in our cozy space, getting creative, and slowing down together as the days get colder. I don’t really enjoy the cold- but I do make the best of it. ♥️

I just wish Coal would help with the wood instead of supervising from his warm sunny spot on the bluestone. 🐾🖤🥰

It’s National Cat Day! Of course we have to celebrate the cats of Pinehurst. 🐾

You see plenty of our two rescued barn cats, Cruella and Jefar. They’ve been with us for over four years, and we think they’re living the life!

Yes, they’re named after villains. 😂 When we brought them home from the shelter, they weren’t too keen on people. But they’ve come a long way! Jefar has even taken on the role of welcoming our yoga guests.

At home, we also have Harmony and Brady, our two Siberian cats. They love people and have the funniest, dog-like personalities. Their outdoor survival skills??? Let’s just say they’re very well suited to the comforts of indoor living. And as you can see in photos we can not have to many plant at home because of Brady. 😂

Four very different personalities, and we love them all. 🤍

Sometimes, we all need a little time to slow down.

That’s one of my favorite things about hosting workshops at Pinehurst. People come to create something beautiful, but they also come for the conversations, the laughter, the peaceful surroundings, and the chance to do something just for themselves.

We provide all the beautiful materials, guidance, and inspiration. You make it your own!

Apparently, Jefar already got the memo about slowing down.

I went into the greenhouse storage area to grab something and had an awww moment. There he was, tucked away soaking up the sunshine. Of course, I had to stop and take a picture.

Tuesdays and Thursdays are his favorite nights at Pinehurst. He greets all his yoga friends, making sure everyone feels comfortable. The sweetest part? He seems to know who’s new to class and spends a little extra time with them at the beginning.

So yes, we unofficially offer cat yoga. Hahaha!

Join us tonight at 7 PM for a slow, gentle flow. After walking into a column this weekend, I’m taking my own advice about slowing down. Hahaha! If you missed that moment, check out my last reel.

Saturday morning and I’m running around getting things ready at Pinehurst. Thinking about what’s next, how much time I have to get one kid here and the other there, checking that we have everything to carve pumpkins… and making sure the lights are off.

And then BAMMMM.

It took me over a day to bring myself to watch the video. So the fact that I’m sharing it is shocking. lol

I just stood there holding my head, telling myself over and over, “I need to slow down.”

I’m okay, but that literally stopped me in my tracks.

Wearing all the hats. Apparently needed a helmet.

So if you’re joining me for yoga this week, prepare to slow things down. Clearly, I need to practice that myself.

Last night we went up to the barn to check on things and bring the cats in, and caught some fireworks in the distance! We heard they were for a wedding celebration. Congratulations to the newlyweds!

What a beautiful night to celebrate! I am loving this weather! ☀️🍁♥️

Pinehurst packed up and hit the road! 🌿🍂

We brought a fall flower arrangement workshop to the Culture Club at MannKind in Danbury! This group created beautiful arrangements and shared how nice it felt to slow down and enjoy something relaxing right in their own workspace.

That is the biggest compliment. ❤️ I love thoughtfully choosing the flowers and materials, bringing them to a group, and seeing what everyone creates. Hearing that the experience gave them a chance to relax makes it even more meaningful.

Thank you to the Culture Club at MannKind for welcoming Pinehurst! I’m looking forward to returning for our Thanksgiving centerpiece workshop. 🧡

Last Wednesday evening, we had an incredible opportunity to welcome team members from Warner Chappell Music and ESPN for an after-hours garden experience at Pinehurst, surrounded by plants and flowers grown right here onsite.

Learning a little more about the music industry and how their work connects with ESPN right here in our hometown was just amazing. So much talent around one table!

Ember CT brought a delicious menu featuring food cooked over an open fire, and everyone gathered in the greenhouse as the sun went down and the lights came on.

Thank you for spending your evening with us and trusting us to help bring it together. It meant so much to be a small part of it. ❤️

Lewis Mills HOCO! Of course Natalia and her friends got Pinehurst corsages! 🌸🌱💖

Loved being able to use the last of the blooms, and making the corsages gave some of us moms something to do while the girls got ready!
