The Prince William Art Society presents “Nostalgia”, a group exhibition featuring work by 25 local artists and members.

On view from July 10 through August 9, 2026, the exhibition explores nostalgia as an emotional landscape shaped by memory, longing, and the passage of time.

Through a wide range of artistic interpretations, the works in the exhibition serve as portals into moments that feel half-remembered—places once known, emotions once lived, and histories inherited rather than personally experienced. Texture, sound, color, and form become vehicles for memory, evoking both personal and collective pasts while revealing how nostalgia shifts across individual perspectives.

Can I get vulnerable with you?

You may have heard me say before that art is therapy for my soul. Well I truly mean it. Confronting the wounds that no one ever sees can be an overwhelming task. But art has a way of allowing us to confront those wounds in a more manageable way. Raw emotion with a creative edge.

This journal is the start of a journey of healing for me. It‘s been a long time since I last journaled so I’m a bit rusty, but the important part is to allow this art journey to be a soft place for healing to begin.

Art, the language of the soul, finds expression in my collection titled ‘So This Is Love.’ This collection vibrantly captures the myriad emotions of love, each piece a reflection of the heart’s whispers—from the tender warmth of affection to the exhilarating rush of passion. Through this collection, I embarked on a journey to explore how love molds us, infuses our world with color, and unites us all. I hope that when you encounter these pieces, you can sense the love story intricately woven within each detail.
