Wow! First of all, a HUGE thank you to all 106 of you who came out for auditions! It was such a fun 2 days for our team and we loved seeing everyone bring their all. Billings has so much talent and you guys did not make this easy for us at all! If you were not cast, please do not be discouraged from auditioning. Auditions will be August 30th & 31st at BST (1500 Rimrock Road).
Kids (ages 8-16) auditions will start at 6pm with 17+ auditions starting at 7pm. Please come to one night or the other, not both.

Speaking/Singing roles available (ages 17+)
3-5 women
5-8 men

*please note there are opportunities for NON SINGING roles: 1 woman and 1-4 men. If you are interested in a non singing role ONLY, please come to auditions closer to 8pm to read some scenes. You do not need to prepare a song or do the dance portion*

Please prepare roughly 1 minute of a song of your choice to be sung a ca****la or with a track. It does NOT need to be in the style of the show. We want to hear YOU, not what you think we want to hear! We ask that you choose a song that you are comfortable singing that you think shows off your range and ability. Bring emotions, energy, and most importantly, yourself!

Please wear something you are comfortable moving around in as there will be a dancing/movement portion of the audition.

PS - FYI - As part of our upcoming 75th Season (2027-28) we are producing a documentary film about BST history as well as following a show from beginning to end. "The Wizard of Oz" is that show! So, our documentary filmmaker, Ben Bishop will be at auditions. More info will be provided at auditions about this.

A blue-tooth connection to a speaker will be provided. There will be no staff pianist at this audition.

Rehearsals will be Friday after school (for leads) and Saturday/Sunday 2 pm - 5 pm full cast.

What started as an average day in a small town turned into an international sleepover, when 38 planes were diverted to Gander’s airstrip on September 11, 2001. Undaunted by culture clashes and language barriers, the people of Gander cheered up the stranded travelers with music, an open bar, and the recognition that we are all part of a global family.
