Very dramatic looking at Anglia Square today.
I walk most days to go to the Octagon or to shops at Roys. I have talked to more people than ever as we squint through the railings together. Mostly its men who want to tell me something about whats happening or when they used to work there. Sometimes a woman with a child who loves the diggers.

My next gig is this Sunday as poet in residence for True Stories Live
It is always a heart warming occasion. You feel like you are part of something, not just a passive recipient of a event. There are opportunites to take part as a 'wild card', if you feel moved.

This guy was lovely at the demolition of Anglia Square today. Told me to film him and not the building! Apparently the top bit was meant to be knocked back like that. Also they are knocking more down tomorrow at 10 am.

Thank you to A Constitutionalist Called Claire for this great drone shot of the pride scarf at St Nicholas church in North Walsham today with Sing with Pride.
And I just noticed that Shelly Telly has backed the film with the choir singing a version of the tweet I made for Out 140!

I was so pleased to bring the Pride Scarf to St Nicolas Church in North Walsham today for the Sing with Pride worskhop.
This scarf was knitted after the first Norwich Pride to show solidarity from the churches for the march.
If you look carefully can you see the drone? That's why i am standing like that!
Click like when you have spotted it.
Thanks to A Constitutionalist Called Claire for the drone footage and Shelly Telly for inviting me to bring the scarf

I am proud to displaying the Pride Scarf at this event coming up.
When I am on my death bed it will be one of the things I am proud to have done, making a giant scarf to show that all people of all orientations should be welcome in faith groups

As well as weekly Wednesday rehearsals, we are continuing to organise weekend workshops around the county. Our next workshop is in North Walsham on Sunday 18th October from 2-4pm at St Nicholas Church & North Walsham Benefice right in the centre of the town.

We are delighted to say that Helenofnorwich - Guerrilla Artist will be bringing the giant Pride Scarf to decorate the church. The Pride Scarf was created in 2010 by Helen and hundreds of knitters from local churches and the LGBTQ+ community as a beautiful symbol of solidarity and inclusion. This was in response to the small group of Christians who protested against the first Norwich Pride in 2009. Helen was keen to show that most churches welcome LGBTQ+ people.

We are very excited about singing at St Nicholas where the acoustics are fabulous. The workshop is free but we welcome donations to support our work. The workshop is for everyone, no singing experience necessary and our Musical Director Charlie can teach everything by ear. We’ll be singing a range of songs from our repertoire.
