🎭 Welcome to the official Facebook home of Inverurie Panto! 🌟
Bringing laughter, music, magic, and community spirit to the stage every year in the heart of Inverurie.

🌱✨ Coming this season: Jack and the Beanstalk — a giant magical adventure! Inverurie Panto was established in 1980 when His Majesty’s Theatre was closed for refurbishment and the people of the North East were left without a Christmas Pantomime. The Inverurie Panto has since grown from a small amateur show to a full scale professional production seen by almost 10,000 people in 2014, when Jack and the Beanstalk received rave reviews. The dazzling array of costumes, special effects, stunning stage sets, and the usual mix of family comedy, music and entertainment will be certain to delight the sell-out audiences.

Meet our Jill: Laura Burnett

Laura first joined us as Princess Rosebud in Puss in Boots back in 2016. Since then she's been Cinderella, Princess Jasmine, Queen Florence and Maid Marian, and Cinderella is still her favourite panto role.

Her favourite thing about panto? The giggles at rehearsal. 🎭

Meet our Jack: Hollie Cunningham

This is Hollie's fourth Inverurie Panto. She's been Prince Elphinstone, Robin Hood and Prince Tod, and this year she's the one climbing the beanstalk. 🌱

Hollie once admitted she "really wasn't a fan of panto" before she joined us. We think we've changed her mind. 💛

Congratulations Inverurie! 🏆 Scotland's Town of the Year 2026, and every bit deserved.

It's the people who make a town, and we've seen it every year: the volunteers, the businesses, the families who turn out for the shows, the cast and crew who give up their evenings for months. We're proud to be part of it.

Come and see us at the Town Hall from Saturday 5th to Thursday 24th December, and bring someone who'll love it. 🎭

After careful consideration, we have made the difficult decision to withdraw from this year’s Scottish Pantomime Awards.

Due to changing circumstances, we feel that this is not the right time for us to participate.

This has not been an easy decision, particularly given the passion and enthusiasm shown by audiences across the north east of Scotland during the public voting process. We are grateful to everyone who took the time to support and vote for our productions – your encouragement means a great deal to us all.

We firmly believe that pantomime in Scotland deserves to be recognised and celebrated, and we wish the Scottish Pantomime Awards success as they champion this much-loved art form.

We hope there will be opportunities to work together in future years to help strengthen and support the awards for the benefit of the wider pantomime community across the country.
