Autumn, but with a little bit of the Imperium hidden amongst the flowers. 🍂⚔️

This whole collection is just rich.

Burnt orange, burgundy, gold and deep earthy tones, huge sunflowers, wild trailing foliage and those gorgeous lanterns carrying the same autumnal story through the wedding party.

Then amongst it all, little pieces chosen specifically for them.

Carnelian crystals tucked into the flowers and an Imperial Aquila hidden amongst the details. Because your favourite worlds can absolutely find their way into your wedding flowers too.

Sometimes they’re the entire inspiration. Sometimes they’re a tiny “if you know, you know” detail waiting to be spotted. And I bloody love both 🌞

There’s a reason I’m so obsessed with putting crystals in wedding flowers. 🔮✨

Yes, they look incredible. But they can also bring another layer of meaning to something you’ll carry through one of the biggest moments of your life.

Maybe it represents love, protection or new beginnings. Maybe it reminds you of someone. Maybe it’s simply a crystal you’ve always loved.

Or maybe you saw a massive chunk of Labradorite and thought “yep. THAT ONE.” 😂

A full crystal handle, towers nestled amongst the flowers, or just a little touch somewhere within your florals.

Some bouquets feel like they belong in a wedding. This one feels like it belongs in a saga ⚔️🌙

This beauty made its way across the Atlantic to Colorado 🇺🇸

Blues, browns and ivory, wild foliage and little pieces of Norse inspired symbolism hidden everywhere you look.

⚔️ A sword at the centre
🌙 A rune covered crescent moon rising above the flowers
🌊 The Helm of Awe tucked away
🐻 Bears, moths, stars and keys waiting to be spotted
🧭 And a pocket watch compass hanging below

This is exactly the kind of design I LOVE creating.

Not “Norse themed” because we added one charm and called it a day… I want the whole bouquet to feel like it belongs to the same world.

The colours. The textures. The wildness. The tiny symbols you only notice when you look closer.

It should feel like there’s a story behind it before anyone even knows what that story is.

People are always surprised by the questions I ask during our Coven Consultation… 🌿✨

I’m interested in your colours and your venue, of course. But I’m also curious about the things that make you YOU.

The book you can’t stop recommending. The film you quote without thinking. The game you always play together. The mythology that’s fascinated you for years. The place that feels like home.

Because those are the details that transform a bouquet from something beautiful into something deeply personal.

I don’t believe your wedding flowers should just match your colour palette… I believe they should tell your story!

For the first time ever, wheretheblossomsare is heading south of the border!

On 12th September, I’ll be at the Alternative Wedding Network Fayre at St Paul’s Church, Bristol, bringing a little corner of the Coven with me.

And obviously I’m not travelling all that way empty handed 👀

Expect crystals. Swords. Strange little trinkets. Florals that refuse to behave themselves. And plenty of bouquets to actually see, hold and get ideas from.

PLUS… you’ll be able to scoop your OWN confetti! ✨

Hidden amongst it you might find crystals, charms and other tiny treasures to take home with you.

What if your wedding bouquet looked beautiful to everyone… but told an entire story to the people who GET it? 💎⚔️

Yesterday, this Steven Universe inspired bouquet finally made its way down the aisle with Charda and there’s one detail in this design that I particularly love…

The Garnet.

In Steven Universe, Ruby and Sapphire fuse together to become Garnet, with Garnet representing the love and relationship between them.

The brief was jewel tones, Garnet and little pieces of the world they love woven throughout, and this is where we ended up.

❤️ Three Garnet crystal towers
⚔️ A gold sword
💎 Steven Universe inspired charms
🌙 A gold crescent moon
✨ Gold details scattered amongst rich burgundy, blue, purple and black florals
🌿 Finished with wild, trailing foliage

It’s bold. It’s romantic. It’s gloriously nerdy in all the right places.

And that is EXACTLY what I love about creating flowers this way. Because your favourite stories don’t suddenly become less important because you’re getting married.

You don’t have to choose between beautiful wedding flowers and flowers that feel like you.

You can have both.

Huge congratulations to yesterday’s newlyweds. 🖤✨ I hope your day was every bit as wonderful, colourful and completely yours as it deserved to be.

You don’t want a different wedding just for the sake of being different.

You just don’t want to disappear into someone else’s idea of what a wedding is supposed to look like.

You’ve spent years seeing beautiful weddings. Perfect flowers. Perfect tables. Perfect dresses. Perfect photographs.

And you can look at all of it and think “that’s gorgeous” while also knowing…

“But that isn’t us.”

Because when you imagine your own wedding, you want to recognise yourselves in it.

And that’s exactly how I approach your flowers.

I don’t want to take a bouquet we’ve made before, change the colours and call it bespoke.

I want to know you.

Because once I know what you love, what matters to you and what makes your relationship yours, that’s when we can start creating something nobody else could have carried.

Maybe that means crystals. Maybe it means a sword. Maybe there’s a tiny reference to your favourite book hidden amongst the flowers. Maybe we create an entire world.

You don’t need to arrive knowing exactly what your bouquet should look like.

Struggling to get a quote for your wedding flowers? There might actually be a reason. 👀🌿

I’ve seen more couples talking recently about struggling to get fresh flower quotes for weddings that are still a year or two away.

And actually, I can understand why.

Fresh flower prices change all the time. Availability can change. Seasons change. Import costs change. So when a florist is being asked to price flowers for a wedding in 2027 or 2028, they’re potentially trying to predict what those flowers are going to cost them YEARS from now.

Quote too low and they could end up absorbing a pretty hefty increase themselves. Quote too high to protect against that possibility and suddenly the couple is paying more than they perhaps needed to.

Then there’s availability. If you have your heart set on a particular flower, colour or variety, what’s available naturally at the time of your wedding can affect what’s possible too.

This is one of the places silk florals work very differently. Want peonies in December? We can. Hydrangeas in February? Yep. Black roses? Absolutely.

A bouquet covered in crystals, charms and a sword handle? Well… now you’re speaking my language. 😂⚔️
