Admin has always been one of the hardest parts of running a business for me.
It’s not the emails themselves.
It’s the constant clicking.
Open.
Close.
Back.
Find my place.
Open the next one.
Repeat.
I also really struggle using my laptop trackpad. The clicking and swiping with my thumb can send my sensory system into overdrive, so I almost always use a separate mouse instead.
Then I discovered Gmail has keyboard shortcuts.
Now I can work through my inbox with far less clicking, less switching between screens, and less frustration.
It seems like such a tiny thing, but when your nervous system is already working overtime, removing hundreds of unnecessary clicks actually makes a difference.
