A little glimpse into the creation of my newest painting, inspired by the beautiful Blancpain Lady B from Blancpain ✨
What makes this timepiece so special to me is the story behind it. Its origins go back to 1956, when the original Ladybird was introduced under the leadership of Betty Fiechter, the first woman to lead a Swiss watch manufacture.
Inspired by the Blancpain Lady B’s elegant spherical shape and the warm burgundy and moka tones of its leather straps, I wanted to bring a little of its heritage into my own artistic world.
Through twelve concentric circles and carefully mixed shades, I created a painting that reflects the warmth of autumn and my own interpretation of time through colour and movement.
Two different crafts, connected by a shared love for creativity, precision and the smallest details.
