Design-a-Sign Workshop is located in Ottawa, Ontario. I specialize in custom painted wood signs and offer private paint parties in the comfort of your own home. I will come to you! A workshop can be done in your home, a friend's home or any other location with enough space for your guests to set up at a table and paint their sign. My workshops cater to groups of 8-14 people and will take approxima
tely 2 1/2 - 3 hours to complete. I will supply all necessary tools, materials, as well as all table coverings. HOW IT WORKS:
Design-a-Sign Workshops are great for events like Birthdays, Girl's Nite Out, Wedding Parties, or Team Building activities! Your sign can make the perfect unique and personalized gift for any occasion, or simply kept for your own pleasure to add a special touch to your home. What makes us unique from other Paint Nites? YOU decide what you want your sign to say! Choose a popular quote, your favorite saying or lyrics from a much-loved song. Perhaps you'd like a family name sign for your house or cottage, or a personalized sign for a new baby's nursery? The possibilities are truly endless. There is no experience necessary to participate, all you need is a little imagination (or some guilt-free inspiration from Pinterest!). All stencils will be made by me! I recommend heading over to my Pinterest board https://www.pinterest.com/dariyeo/ if you need ideas, or you are welcome to come up with something on your own. Participants will email me their content request and I will work with you to create a design that I think works with the quote and looks best on the board. I will need at least two weeks before the class to allow for production of each template. At the workshop, I will provide a selection of background paints, however if you are looking for a specific color, I suggest that you pre-purchase a 2 oz bottle of acrylic craft paint from Michaels to bring with you to the class. Projects range from $40-$55 depending on size and design. For more information or questions, please send me a message or email me at [email protected]
