Synopsis:**Monsters vs. Aliens Synopsis**
When California bride Susan Murphy is unexpectedly hit by a meteor on her wedding day, the mysterious space residue causes her to grow 49 feet and 11 inches tall. Labeled a threat, she is immediately captured by the military, renamed Ginormica, and locked away in a classified government facility. There, she meets her fellow inmates: a ragtag group of monsters including the brainless blue blob B.O.B., the brilliant mad scientist Dr. Cockroach Ph.D., the prehistoric half-ape, half-fish Missing Link, and a massive 350-foot grub named Insectosaurus.
When a ruthless alien overlord named Gallaxhar launches an invasion to conquer Earth, human weapons don't stand a chance. Desperate to save the planet, the military makes a deal with the monsters: defeat the extraterrestrial threat, and earn their freedom once and for all.
