Got plans this weekend?

I’ll be doing a vernissage for a new show at the Carleton Place Gallery Saturday 25th from 1-4 pm. There will be refreshments and a chance to meet and talk to artists. Like me!

I’m showing the first work in a series of paintings inspired by my road-trips.
This piece was inspired by a photo I took during a drive along the PEI coast. (Oil, 12x12)

The series will feature work inspired by trips in Canada, California, and Portugal.

Carleton Place is a pretty town with lots of cute shops and coffee spots.

Save the date!
I’ll be participating in a show at the Carleton Place Gallery.
The Vernisage is Saturday April 25 (1-4). I volunteered for the hospitality so I’ll be there the whole time .

It’s been such a long hard winter. Soon we can enjoy brilliant sunsets by the water, and air our laundry in fresh summer winds.

Round Lake Sunset was painted en plein air in the Ottawa Valley.

Fresh Linen was painted from a photo I took during a road trip on the east coast of Canada

It’s still -5 Celsius (23 degrees Fahrenheit) here in Ottawa, winter will end at some point. 🤷‍♀️
