From Ottawa's urban edge in Hintonburg sparks a new venue serving artists and art-lovers, an alternative space for expression, co-creation and collaboration. It's Father's Day and there is 2 great events in Ottawa. Attend either one or both if you can:
- Chambers: The double book launch of Ottawa's former Poet Laureate Jamaal Amir Akbari. Releasing 2 books today, his book of poetry and also his childrens book. He will performing at the Shenkman Arts Center at 3pm along with a line-up of great artists. For tickets go to, Shenkmanarts.ca or click the link below.

- Father's Day (Kids Bike Drive). The FREE bike giveaway for youths 5-18 years old. There is a lot of activities for the kids and adults, bbq food, drinks, music, plus more. This a family fun event for everyone. To attend this event is FREE, located at Laroche Park, 51 Stonehurst Ave. 2pm-8pm
