It was a foggy day, so more grey and blue, but I always try to let my intuition and creativity guide me when I'm interpreting an image I've taken. .studio

Canoe views and lakeside hues. 🛶✨

I’m so excited to share my newest watercolour piece: “Where the Birches Meet the Blue, Banner Lake.” This scene is tucked away in a quiet corner of our lake in Bancroft, right near a favourite local beaver lodge.

While I’m still making peace with how I render water (it’s a journey!), I am absolutely in love with how this sky and those fluffy clouds turned out. There’s nothing quite like that crisp Bancroft air!
