Hello everyone! My name is Leana Azerrad and I am the co-owner of Music Box Studios located in Westboro (my wonderful husband Christos Yannakis is the other owner). I wanted to let everyone in the neighbourhood know that my music school is open for on-line or in person lessons at our studio or in your home. (Please note that at this time voice lessons can only be offered online.)

We will be following Ottawa public health guidelines to make sure our teachers and our students are safe. These measures will be posted on our website. You could certainly contact me if you would like more information about our safety protocols.

I am a University of Ottawa Piano Pedagogy research alumni. My husband and I opened up a music school in Westboro, Ottawa 10 years ago. We are in need of a piano/voice teacher to start working with us after the winter holidays. (We need someone to work on Wednesdays or Fridays during the day, and perhaps another person to work in the evenings.) Introducing my student Léo Dolenko! Léo started out as a beginner pianist at Music Box Studios when he was 7 years old. Léo is now starting high school and is still growing strong in music! Here he is playing a fun Christopher Norton piece: Nefertiti Blues. Enjoy!

Happy New Year!
Music Lessons have gotten off to a great start! Students are well rested and motivated after a much-needed winter break. Music Box Studios can’t wait to make music with you in year 2019.

There are still some teachers with availability to provide music lessons. Our studio offers music lessons at the studio located in Westboro, and it also offers music lessons in the comfort of your own home. Music lessons are also offered in the following schools: Édouard Bond, Terre Des Jeunes, Michaelle Jean, Michel Dupuis, Marie Curie, Jean Robert Gauthier.
