Get to know the cast of Confederemix with the following bios:

Kevin Reid is the longtime writer of popular theatre blog The Visitorium. Kevin attended Ottawa Theatre School, and went to clown camp on Manitoulin Island. With his company Strange Visitations he has appeared in and co-created UNZIPPING THE AT (Fresh Meat Festival), NORMAN BISBEE GOES TO WAR (Ottawa Fringe), HANNAH & GEORGE (Ottawa Fringe) and FASTER THAN THE SPEED OF DATING (Fresh Meat, Ottawa and Vancouver Fringe, Undercurrents). He has also worked with Eddie May Mysteries, Backpack Theatre, May Can Theatre, and Chamber Theatre. This is his first leap into the merry world of musicals. He will be back onstage with Chamber Theatre in November with KILLER JOE.

Hilary Peck is currently a part time student at the University of Ottawa studying theatre. She is super jazzed to return as an actor to the Ottawa Fringe Festival. Selected credits include, American Idiot (Heather), Hands on a Hardbody (Norma), 100 First Kisses (Girl). She does a mean C-walk and can stand for hours on end without complaining.

Peter Grant Mackechnie is a great pianist and aspiring educator who has played for the National Ballet School in Toronto. He's been in oodles of musicals, most recently Heathers (CMTS). He drops mad beats for rap battles and writes his own comedic songs. If you get the chance, ask him to pick up a paper bag without using his hands.

Sandy Gibson is delighted to be in the Ottawa Fringe Festival for the third time, following his performances in Portable #3 (2014) and Heart Puppetations (2015). 2016 saw him join the cast of Big Time Murder Productions, which has been just as fun as the six Queen’s Players productions he was in. When Sandy isn’t speaking in accents or dressing up on stage, he’s speaking in accents and dressing up as a French teacher in Ottawa. Sandy also enjoys cooking, swimming and improv. A huge thanks goes out to Jane Anne and his family for being so supportive, his cast for being so dedicated and Mark MacDonald for believing in Confederemix since the start.
