Far From Average Inc. Far From Average Inc. Founded in 2014, Far From Average is a Creative Agency. Far From Average is a brand that is known for it's organic and unique style.

The company is run by Co-Founder/ CEO Matt Kyazze, and his two business partners, Danny Fidaoui and James Wrinn. They are one of the main marketing outlets for the Ottawa hip-hop community and are highly respected in the Ottawa fashion industry. I’d just like to thank everyone who has supported Shake & Pour throughout the summer and up to now. Nothing makes me happier than creating an event that becomes a no-brainer activity for the people of Ottawa. A big shout-out to my dude Jacob Racco from Third Place Studio for giving me a platform to do what I do, and thank you to the Centretown/ Uncommon Spaces BIA for building these cool spaces.

Tonight is the last Shake & Pour of the year. I hope we’re able to run it back next year, but we’ll celebrate tonight regardless. The city is waking up, and it starts with people like you who show up and support.

Tonight, we’re making coquitos, a traditional Christmas drink that originated in Puerto Rico, using Ottawa’s Small-Batch Distillery & Cocktail Lounge white rum.

We have the pleasure of having food prepared by the one and only MISUNDERTOODMAN . Garnished with some lovely flowers from Harvest Valley Edible Flowers 🌸

The weather is looking a little dicey, but we should be fine. Please bring a jacket because we’re committing to this! You can arrive at 5:45 p.m.; the punch will be ready to go. I’ve made some sorrel for you lovely people!
