Creating a large custom tattoo is so much more than just sitting down and drawing a design.

There’s a lot of time, thought and planning that goes into every large-scale piece before we ever get to the tattoo appointment. It starts with a consultation, lots of questions, talking through ideas, placement, flow, sizing, inspiration and all the little details that make the piece personal to you.

Then comes the planning, designing and figuring out how everything is going to work with your body — not just how it looks on paper.

Large custom pieces are definitely a process, but they’re also some of the work I get the most joy out of creating. 🖤

Watching an idea go from a conversation, to a sketch, to a finished piece that was created specifically for one person is one of my favourite parts of what I do.

So if I ask you a million questions during your consultation, I promise there’s a reason. 😂 Every answer helps me understand your vision, who you are, or the person it represents, and then I create something that truly feels like yours.
