Here it is, my humble studio gallery exhibition ✨🖼️ I spent so long framing all these pieces new a new cafe restaurant that opening in my are, got everything wired and labeled, but it sadly closed down soon after opening. I had them up for about a month and got some great feedback from the community but after bringing them home they felt very sad sitting in a box.

Holes in the wall or not, these pieces deserve to be displayed and now they are up on the wall next to my workspace, brightening up my days. Honestly, I am still so surprised by how much framing a piece can make the artwork stand out. Looking forward to finding another opportunity to share these ones with the public, but in the meantime, I have them all to myself to enjoy! I’m hoping to launch my Etsy page soon and post these up for sale. I will be sharing the launch date soon!

Shoutout to this cutie patootie in all his colour changing cuteness. Fluffy friends are the best friends 💕 Keep an eye out for a couple more animal buddies that I’ll be finishing in September.

Curiosity 🦊 Acrylic on stretch canvas
This piece has gone through so many stages. I posted it a few weeks ago thinking that I was finished, but it turns out is was not - just tried to rush to finish. But after coming back to it time and time again, I think I’ve struck a good balance of soft and bold, sharp and loose, realism and abstraction. I haven’t done this large a realistic animal painting before so it was an overwhelming amount of detail at some point. It can be hard to know when to stop. However, all good things take time and I’m happy to add this one to my collection! More animal portraits to come 🐑🐄🐖
