Our workshop has been running for over 30 years.

It is probably the largest and cheapest in Ottawa. The class is co-operative and non profit. There is no registration fee and no up-front payment. You only pay for the sessions that you attend. Everyone helps with the room set-up before the session and then helps in the clean-up afterwards as much as they are able. Everyone Welcome:
There are members drawing at every level from beginners to profes

sionals. Everyone is welcome. You will fit in somewhere. There is no instruction but one can watch others work and ask for pointers during the breaks. A Typical Evening:
The usual turnout is between 10 and 30 people and the inner circle around the model is filled up quickly with most people seated. However, the model is usually on a platform and an outer ring is then formed with some people using standup easels. People can move around to some extent. Incidentally, easels are not provided by the workshop; you bring your own. Place and Time:

Every Wednesday from 6:00 to 8:00


Format:
We start off with five 90 second gestures. This is followed by a 10 minute standing pose
a 20 minute pose followed by a short break. Next a 30 minute pose followed by one last pose usually reclining untill 7:55
leaving 5 nim. for the clean-up. Fees:
The cost is currently $5.00 per night. masks and covid shots are required by the comunity centre untill further notice
all attendees must leave their names and contact # in case a covid case is detected
