John Laughlin and his wife Mary Mayberry (or spelled Mayburry) along with their three children, another child Mary Ann being born at sea came from Tyrone in Northern Ireland in 1833. They were blessed with thirteen children - six boys and seven girls. was 95 years old when
he died and Mary his wife passed away six years later at the age of 82. Their children were, John Jr., Margaret, James, Mary Ann, William, Jane, Thomas, Robert, Elisa Stevenson, Oliver, Martha and two other daughters that presently we have not found any information on.
