On August 8, Velvet Wells is teaching Oscar-Winning Moment, a two-hour workshop devoted to finding depth, passion and surprising connections in one of short-form’s most gloriously dramatic games.
You’ll break down the game’s structure, explore a variation or two, and get plenty of reps—with mechanics, hard-won insights and practical tips from a director who genuinely loves the game.
No previous Oscar-Winning Moment experience is required, but participants should have some experience playing short-form in classes, jams or shows.
