Harris Alley Art I'm a freelance artist creating original abstract artwork using acrylics, mediums and mixed media on canvas. They can invoke emotion and thought.

Abstract paintings are a truly subjective form of art. They are whatever the viewer of that painting wants them to be. They can be bold or subtle. I am a freelance artist located in Ottawa, Ontario. I have a full time job at a bank and also am a new mom. I have a background in technical theatre, specializing in scenic painting and set design. Painting is my creative outlet and gives me a chance to

explore my passion for design and lets me escape the daily grind. All of my paintings are original, one of a kind pieces. They are all painted on stretched canvas, no framing is required. They all include heavy texture using various mediums such as spackle, eggshells, cardboard and modeling paste. They're made using high quality acrylics and are all sealed with an archival varnish to protect them from UV exposure, fading and dust.
