Twenty thousand years ago, these tusks belonged to a bull woolly mammoth roaming the frozen landscapes of what is now Yakutia, Russia.

Measuring 10′8″ and 10′4″, and weighing a combined 316.5 pounds, they are among the most imposing matched pairs we have had the privilege to offer.

Their sweeping curves, remarkable symmetry, and natural palette of deep mineral blues, warm amber, honey, and cream were shaped by thousands of years within the Siberian permafrost.

Some specimens are collected. Others transform a space.

Available through Fossil Realm.

This exceptional Tyrannosaurus rex tooth is now available through Fossil Realm.

Recovered from the renowned Lance Formation of Wyoming, the specimen stands out for its impressive size (5.83”) and for preserving a substantial portion of the root within its original matrix—a combination that is encountered far less frequently than isolated crowns.

Dating to approximately 66 million years ago, it comes from one of the final ecosystems inhabited by Tyrannosaurus rex before the end-Cretaceous extinction.

Specimens of this calibre represent some of the most iconic and sought-after fossils in the world.

The fossil market sits at a fascinating intersection — where paleontology, law, aesthetics, and capital all converge.

We’ve published a detailed overview of how it actually works: the legal landscape by country, how fossils move from excavation to collection, the forces that have reshaped valuations in recent years, and the ongoing debate between commercial and academic interests.

Whether you’re a collector, a curious observer, or someone considering a first acquisition — worth a read.

A predator frozen in motion.
This exquisitely preserved Aspidorhynchus acutirostris glides across Solnhofen limestone like a shadow from deep time — slender, sharp, and unmistakably alive despite its Jurassic age. Fine skeletal detail, natural dendritic patterns, and near-pristine preservation place this among the most aesthetic Solnhofen fishes we’ve encountered.

An iridescent ammonite from Alberta’s Bearpaw Formation, where fossil shell has transformed into ammolite, one of Earth’s rarest gemstones.
Formed in a Cretaceous sea 71 million years ago, its living colours—red, gold, green, and rare flashes of blue—are preserved in stone, a quiet testament to deep time.

Skull size: ~31 × 18 × 15.5 in (L × H × W)
Overall display: ~55 × 45 × 18.5 in (H × L × W)

A powerful statement piece for an institutional setting or a serious private collection, offering a direct connection to the Ice Age world.
