Has it been a year already?
Greetings from The Alarm HQ, Dyserth, North Wales.
It gives us great pleasure here at The Alarm HQ to let you know that Transformation (all formats) will be dispatched from the Chapel on May 29th onwards.
We would like to thank you for your patience whilst we delayed the Transformation release in order for us to deliver all the detail in accordance with Mike’s instructions in his last few months of his life.
Transformation is Mike’s Swansong. During his last six months of his life he poured his heart and soul into this record and it was very important in his dying days to know that we, The Alarm Team, would honour his wishes to deliver Transformation to the world. It is an uplifting affirmation of hope and unity, to live today, and embodies the incredible spirit of Mike Peters.
We would like to draw your attention to the new limited editions created by Mike.
As you all know by now, Mike was an avid vinyl collector and it was important to him to create different collections upon every release throughout his life.
The detail of the different editions, 12 inch, coloured vinyl, signed cards has been a huge undertaking and we are delighted to deliver Transformation in all formats just as Mike wanted.
Mike worked tirelessly during his time at the Christie when his mind was at times affected by the CAR T but his usual determination carried him through, working at his laptop every day and turning his hospital room into a production space.
Huge thanks and gratitude to Andy Labrow and Gary Overington who have worked around the clock over the last 12 months to oversee production and manufacture with Virgin Media Group.
On May 29th Transformation is available around the world on Twenty First Century Records, distributed by Virgin Media.
