Le 4e Festival du film des droits de la personne de l’Université d’Ottawa mettra en vedette des documentaires et films internationaux qui traitent de questions relatives aux droits de la personne. Les projections seront suivies de périodes de discussion avec les réalisateurs, des professeurs et des spécialistes. Le festival inclura également un atelier sur l’utilisation de films pour la promotion

des droits de la personne et fera partie des initiatives mises en place dans le cadre des 16 Jours d'activisme contre la violence de genre, une campagne de sensibilisation internationale qui appelle à l’élimination de la violence sexuelle et sexiste en menant des actions aux niveaux local, national et international. The 4th University of Ottawa Human Rights Film Festival will feature international documentaries and films highlighting compelling human rights issues. The screenings will be followed by opportunities for discussion with film makers, academics and experts. The Festival will also included a workshop on the use of film for human rights advocacy and will be one of the initiatives taking place within the 16 Days of Activism Against Gender Based Violence, an international campaign which calls for the elimination of gender-based violence by raising awareness at the local, national, and international levels.
