Play for the Pot Play for the Pot is a battle of the bands style concert series hosted by Ashley Newall. Play for the Pot is a battle-of-the-bands-style concert series.

Hosted by Ashley Newall, the friendly competition highlights Ottawa bands -plus regional (Kingston, Montreal etc.) acts- ALL of whom receive cash AND prizes for rockin'! Prizing provided by kick-ass awesome sponsors Couch Assassin (Local Events Website) & St. John's Music! Winning bands in preliminary rounds move onto the Winner's Circle/semi-final, & Winner's Circle victors subsequently advance to the Champion's League/final to play for a day @ Gallery Recording Studio!
