Ottawa! Our annual Prove You're a Comic competition is two weeks away!
9 comics perform every Tuesday in July. Top 5 (chosen by judging panel) from each week perform on Wednesday and Thursday. Winner from each week is decided by audience vote on Wednesday and Thursday!
Finals Week (Aug 4 - 9, 2026) will have the winner of each heat and a hand picked wild card! Winner will be decided by audience vote throughout the week!
Winner of the competition gets a $500 cash prize and a week of paid shows at both Absolute Comedy locations!

Week 1 (July 7 - 9, 2026): Alex Callahan, Cesar Makhoul, Dave Elliott, Eric Boileau, Greg White, Hala Khoury, Jake Brown, Kate Robotham, and Michelle Payne
Week 2 (July 14 - 16, 2026): Andreas DeChellis, Chris Connolly, Dhawal Selarka, Duncan MacQuarrie, Dustin Visser, Ed Hart, Lauren Lane, Louise Gingras, and BigHonkin Michel
Week 3 (July 21 - 23, 2026): Brytn Beggs, Carmina Miana, Jake Daly, Jake Storm, Joe Zompanti, Paolo Cee, Riddhi Kachhela, Ryan Watson, and Toni Lauren
Week 4 (July 28 - 30, 2026): Alex Awad, David Rotenberg, Emmett Morrison, James Scott McKillop, Lisa Rae, LL Balkwill, Lorenzo Patino, Nicky Bobby, and Scott E.T.
