Auditions for the Cantata Singers of Ottawa are now open!

Cantata Singers of Ottawa is an adult, mixed voice, auditioned concert choir. We produce an annual season of music of many styles and musical periods, from early music to minimalism, both a capella and with orchestras and small ensembles, regularly sing at the National Arts Centre, and undertake collaborations with leading Canadian instrumental and vocal ensembles.

Here is a first listen to the orchestra for Splendours of Venice, tomorrow at St Joseph’s at 3 pm. The cornetti never cease to amaze; so much glorious sound. The Ottawa Baroque Consort perform the ritornello of Ave Maris Stella from Monteverdi’s vespers. Tickets at the door. $60/40/35/10.
